Technology Policy

Technology Policy

Technology trends such as the move to cloud computing, the continued miniaturization of electronic circuits, and the increasing demands on wireless spectrum resources create challenges that involve both technology and policy. We believe that in addition to developing technical solutions to meet these challenges, it is important to consider the related policy implications as well.

To that end, we are actively engaged in contributing to the national dialogue regarding the broader ramifications of our research, and have published articles and papers in venues including the Brookings Institution, Fast Company, Forbes, the Los Angeles Times, Scientific American, and Slate. These articles are intended to provide timely and useful information to U.S. Government and industry constituencies including legislators, regulators, and developers of next-generation technology solutions and standards.
